Thalassa was the goddess of the sea. She was the mother of all sea creatures and was depicted rising from it, half woman, half water. She was made of salt water and, to me, represent the ever present flows, methaphorically and literally, that surrounds us. A crab claw, like thoses she wore on her head when answering to disrespectful mortals. / Solid crab claw, 15mm long, on a 40cm chain.
